Buffalo Creek, Colorado is a small unincorporated community tucked behind the hogbacks of southern Colorado. Buffalo Creek is a strong little community that has been through the ringer to say the least. In 1996 this area suffered two natural disasters back to back starting with a man made wildfire, quickly followed by a devastating flood, which ultimately claimed the lives of two locals. The way Buffalo Creek recovered from these tragedies is a perfect example of perseverance as the road to recovery was neither easy or cheap. (After all was said and done, the repairs this town required was estimated around $35 Million.) Luckily, our Buffalo Creek hats are very affordable, and are some of our most popular.
